
SELECTION PROCESS FOR CONTESTANTS
Rules, Policies & Titleholder Agreement
Participation in the Miss & Ms. Culture Galaxy Pageants™ and Miss American Nation Pageant signifies that the contestant (and parent/legal guardian, if under 18) has read, understands, and agrees to abide by all rules, policies, obligations, and commitments of the organization.
Title Selection
Contestants who plan to participate in appearances and events may request a preferred title.
Titles are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Contestants who have paid their entry fee in full receive priority in title selection.
This is a combined pageant. For contestants ages 19 and above, one Miss & Ms. Culture Galaxy Pageants™ titleholder and one Miss American Nation Pageant titleholder will be selected in each eligible division. The title you represent prior to the pageant does not affect your eligibility to win either title.
Entry Fee Requirements
The full competition fee must be paid no later than August 15 of the competition year.
Contestants with an outstanding balance will not be permitted to compete.

Travel & Accommodations
Contestants and their guests are responsible for arranging and paying for all travel, lodging, meals, and transportation.
Contestants arriving before the official competition dates are responsible for booking and paying for any additional hotel nights outside the official room block.
The pageant is scheduled for Columbus Day Weekend in October. Dates and location are subject to change.
Contestant Responsibilities
Contestants requiring an interpreter are responsible for securing one at their own expense.
The pageant organization does not provide interpreter services.
Professional Conduct
Contestants, family members, coaches, and guests are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and good sportsmanship throughout the competition.
Unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, bullying, or behavior deemed detrimental to the organization may result in disqualification without refund.
Hair & Makeup Artists
Contestants who hire personal hair and makeup artists are responsible for securing their own workspace.
Only contestants are permitted inside the official dressing room.
Hair stylists, makeup artists, coaches, photographers, and other outside vendors are not permitted in the dressing room unless contracted directly by the pageant organization.
Photography & Media Release
Photography and video recording are strictly prohibited inside dressing rooms and immediately following crowning while contestants remain on stage.
By participating, contestants authorize the Miss & Ms. Culture Galaxy Pageants™ and Miss American Nation Pageant to use photographs, videos, interviews, and testimonials for promotional, advertising, marketing, and social media purposes without additional compensation.
Social Media Policy
Contestants and titleholders are expected to maintain positive, respectful, and professional social media conduct that reflects the values of the organization.

Cash Awards
Each division winner is eligible to receive a $600 cash award.
A minimum of ten (10) contestants must compete within the division for the full cash award to be presented.
Divisions with fewer than ten contestants will receive a prorated cash award.
Overall High Point Award
When the pageant reaches 40 or more contestants, one contestant with the highest combined overall score will receive the Overall High Point Award.
The winner will receive:
Overall High Point Title
$1,000 Cash Award presented upon successful completion of the titleholder's reign.
The Overall High Point Award is based on the combined scores from:
Panel Style Interview
Costume, State, or Cultural Wear
Fashion Wear (Ages 8–18) or Athletic Wear (Ages 19+)
Evening Gown
Only one Overall High Point Winner will be selected.
Titleholder Responsibilities
Winning a title is both an honor and a commitment.
Each titleholder agrees to:
Complete the full reign.
Attend official pageant events whenever possible.
Crown her successor at the next national pageant.
Promote the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Represent the organization with integrity both in person and online.
Monthly Service Requirement
Titleholders must complete either:
One (1) volunteer service project and one (1) official appearance each month; or
Two (2) volunteer service projects each month.
Activities must be documented through social media or submitted by email.
Travel outside a titleholder's home state is encouraged but is the responsibility of the titleholder.
Failure to fulfill titleholder responsibilities may result in forfeiture of the title, crown, sash, prizes, cash awards, and other gifts.
Judging
All judging decisions are final and binding.
Judges' scores and decisions are not subject to appeal.
Liability Release
Contestants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and release Miss & Ms. Culture Galaxy Pageants™, Miss American Nation Pageant, their officers, staff, volunteers, sponsors, venues, and affiliates from liability for injury, loss, damage, or claims arising from participation in pageant-related activities.
Recompete Policy
Former national winners may compete again in the same age division after taking a one-year break.
A titleholder may also compete immediately upon aging into a new eligible division.
Tax Compliance
Cash prizes and awards with a total value exceeding $600 are subject to applicable IRS reporting requirements.
Recipients will receive any required tax documentation.
Website Policy
The official website, www.anpageants.com, serves as the governing source for all rules, regulations, policies, schedules, and updates. In the event of any conflict between printed materials, handbooks, emails, or announcements, the information published on the official website shall prevail.

By submitting an application, contestants (and parents or legal guardians of contestants under 18) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with all rules, policies, procedures, responsibilities, and requirements of the Miss & Ms. Culture Galaxy Pageants™ and Miss American Nation Pageant.
